Corrections Administrator Tammy Mcalpin

Sgt. Tammy McAlpin began her journey with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in the corrections division back in 2003. Her unwavering dedication and hard work led to her promotion as Assistant Administrator in 2005, and then to her current role as Jail Administrator in 2007.  Sgt. McAlpin plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of inmates, staff, and law enforcement within the corrections department. Her commitment to making thoughtful penological decisions reflects her passion for a safe and effective correctional environment. 

Corrections Lt. Jonathan Wingo

Jonathan Wingo began his career with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) at the end of 2009 in the corrections division. His dedication and commitment were evident from the start, leading to his promotion to Lieutenant in 2018. Prior to becoming lieutenant of the department, he obtained taser and mace certifications in 2010. He completed certification in 2014 for FTO. As FTO he instills his knowledge and dedication on the newer corrections deputies. Jonathan’s willingness to go above and beyond is reflected in his consistent efforts to assist the department, often coming in on his days off to help with various tasks, whether it be transporting prisoners or participating in community events. He selflessly volunteers his time away from his family to support the mission of MCSD, showcasing his strong commitment to both his role and the community he serves.

Corrections Sgt Stacie McCain

Stacie McCain started her career with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) in mid-2005. Demonstrating her commitment to her role, she achieved Field Training Officer (FTO) status in 2017 and was subsequently promoted to sergeant in 2018. Stacie chose a career in corrections with the intention of making a positive impact in the lives of individuals within her community. Her dedication to service and desire to effect change highlight her commitment to both her profession and the people she serves.

Corrections Deputy Holly Rollins

Holly started with Marion County Sheriff’s Department in 2006, Holly has shown incredible commitment and passion. After spending 5 years in our correction division, she took on a new challenge in dispatch for another 5 years before returning as a corrections deputy. Holly believes that her true impact lies in helping inmates and is driven by her goal to make a positive difference in our community every day.

Brittany Hargis began her career with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) in early 2016 as a corrections deputy. Having lived in Marion County her entire life, Brittany felt a strong calling to serve her community. Her dedication and loyalty to the county are evident in her commitment to her role. Brittany is passionate about making a positive impact and is proud to contribute to the safety and well-being of her community through her service with MCSD.

Corrections Deputy Jacqueline Way

Since the fall of 2021, Jacqueline has been an invaluable member of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in our corrections department. With two years of experience at the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office under her belt, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role. Jacqueline is not just here to do a job; she’s on a mission!  Her goal is to climb the ranks and one day become a jail administrator, all while making a positive impact on everyone she encounters. She truly embodies the spirit of service and commitment to her community.  When she’s not working hard, Jaqueline dreams of retiring on the beach with a refreshing Sun Drop in hand – a perfect way to celebrate her dedication!

Corrections Deputy Tammy Smith

Tammy with 18 years at the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in our corrections department, Tammy has shown incredible dedication and resilience. After exploring other paths for a short time, she returned to her true calling in spring of 2023. Tammy was instrumental in transitioning from the old jail to our new facility, showcasing her commitment to our mission. As a Field Training Officer (FTO) for new corrections deputies, she plays a vital role in shaping the future of our team. Her passion for helping others and serving Marion County truly makes a difference every day

Corrections Deputy Scottie Talley

Scottie joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) in early 2022, he has made a remarkable impact in our corrections division. A proud veteran of the US Army for 6 years, Scottie decided to bring his dedication and service closer to home.  His mission? To inspire change and support those in need, particularly individuals struggling with addiction. Through compassion and commitment, Scottie aims to help them on their journey to recovery and rehabilitation.

Corrections Deputy Jordan Easterly

Jordan joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) after gaining valuable experience at the Whitwell Police Department, where he served for a year and a half.  Since joining MCSD in the fall of 2019, Jordan has always been dedicated to serving his community. After exploring different paths in law enforcement, he realized that corrections was where he truly wanted to make a difference. Inspired by several family members who have served in the field, he is committed to upholding the values of justice and service. We’re thrilled to have Jordan back with us, ready to continue his mission of community service! 

Corrections Deputy Will Carter

Since joining the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in early 2023, Will has brought a unique perspective shaped by his 4 1/2 years of service in the Army National Guard. His commitment to serving the community continues as he embraces a career in law enforcement.  Deputy Carter is determined to prove himself and hopes to transition into a road deputy role in the near future. His experience in the corrections department has equipped him with valuable insights on effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

Corrections Deputy Jessica Davis

Jessica Davis began her journey with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) as a corrections deputy in early 2024. With a strong enthusiasm for her new role, she looks forward to the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead. Jessica is passionate about serving her community and is determined to make a positive impact on the lives of those she encounters during her time with MCSD. Her dedication to public service and commitment to making a difference reflect her values as she embarks on this important career path.

Corrections Deputy William “Dakota” Guinn

William “Will” Guinn joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) in early 2024 as a corrections deputy. With aspirations to advance in his career, Will aims to become a road deputy, and ultimately, he dreams of becoming a detective. His commitment to law enforcement is fueled by a desire to make positive changes in the community through his work. With a strong sense of purpose, Will is dedicated to serving and protecting the public while pursuing his professional goals within the department.

Haley joined Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) in spring 2024! Coming from a strong family of first responders, serving the community is truly in her blood.  Haley is eager to embark on a long and fulfilling career with MCSD, with aspirations to rise through the ranks and make an even greater impact. Her dedication to service and commitment to our community make her a fantastic addition to our team!

Deavin joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) as of spring 2024! With prior experience as a corrections deputy at the Grundy County Sheriff Office, Deavin is bringing valuable insights and a strong commitment to service.  With aspirations to become a deputy in the future, his dedication to our community shines through in everything he does.  Deavin is ready to make a difference and uphold the values that make our community safe and strong.
